Decomposed body found in half constructed building at Kankanady

Mangalore, Mar 10, 2013: A decomposed body of an  unidentified person was found on the second floor of a half constructed building close by Kankanady market on March 9, Saturday evening.

The age of the deceased has been estimated at around 35. It is suspected that he might have died at least three days ago. The  police are yet to ascertain the cause of the death.

 

 

The  construction of the building was suspended some time back due to some legal hurdles. The body was first noticed by a tender coconut vendor who grew suspicious when foul smell began to emanate from the building. Soon locals gathered around and the police was informed.

The body has been taken to Wenlock Hospital for a post-mortem. Kadri police are conducting the investigations.
