Daylight burglary at Bejai ; Rs 4 lakh worth jewels stolen

Mangaluru, Sep 30, 2022: Thieves who broke into a house at Bejai New Road when the occupants were away on September 29, Wednesday have decamped with gold ornaments worth Rs 4 lakhs.

 

A woman who resides in the house had been away on Wednesday morning and upon returning in the afternoon found the back door open. The thieves had broken open the backdoor and had stolen the ornaments from the cupboard.

Urwa police are investigating the case.
