Dasara holidays for schools in Dakshina Kannada from Sept 26 to Oct 10

Mangaluru, Sep 13, 2022: State Education Minister  B C Nagesh has announced Dasara holidays for schools in Dakshina Kannada district from September 26 to October 10.

Earlier, MLA Vedavyas Kamath had requested the minister to announce Dasara holidays for DK in accordance to the festival dates as Dasara is being celebrated grandly in Mangaluru and elsewhere in the district.

However, as there has been no such demand from Udupi district, there  Dasara holidays will be from October 3 to 16 in accordance to the academic calendar.
