Dakshina Kannada police step up vigil after Delhi blast, says SP

Mangaluru, Nov 12, 2025: In the wake of the recent blast incident in New Delhi, preventive measures have been implemented across the Dakshina Kannada district police limits, said SP Dr. Arun K.

He stated that police officers have been instructed to maintain strict night patrols across the district. Officials and staff have been deployed at sensitive areas for picketing duties and surveillance. Checkpoints have been set up at key locations to conduct rigorous inspections.

Enhanced security and vigilance are being maintained at tourist spots, religious places, major government buildings, and other crowded areas in the district.

The SP has urged the public to immediately inform the district control room if they notice any suspicious individuals or activities.
