Dakshina Kannada SP Arun K selected for CM’s Medal

Mangaluru, March 29, 2026: Several police personnel from Dakshina Kannada district, including Superintendent of Police Dr. Arun K. and Mangaluru City Traffic Sub-Division ACP Najma Farooqi, have been selected for the Chief Minister’s Medal for the year 2025. The awards will be presented at Bengaluru on April 2.

Other awardees include KSRP 7th Battalion ARSI K.M. Shivashekar, DAR ASI Tilakraj, Bantwal Police Station Head Constable Irshad P., Kankanady Town Police Station Head Constable Jayanand N., Mangaluru City Cyber Crime Police Station Head Constables Mani M.N. and Satish (currently posted at Bajpe Police Station following promotion), Beltangady Rural Police Station Head Constable Vijay Kumar Rai, and Urwa Police Station Woman Head Constable Lalitha Lakshmi.
