
Mangaluru, Sep 20, 2026: DYFI national youth leader and West Bengal leader Comrade Dipsita Dhar visited the family of DYFI activist Varshit Kulal, who was declared brain-dead following a road accident in Kuthar and whose organs were donated by his family.
Dhar arrived in Mangaluru to inaugurate the DYFI district conference scheduled to be held on Sunday. She travelled directly from Mangaluru International Airport to Varshit’s residence and offered her condolences to the bereaved family.

She consoled the family and expressed appreciation for their decision to donate Varshit’s organs despite the difficult circumstances.
DYFI district president B.K. Imtiyaz, secretary Santosh Bajal, treasurer Manoj Vamanjoor, and district leaders Nithin Kuthar, Rizwan Harekal, Tayyub Bengre, Razak Mudipu, Sunil Thevula, Madhuri Bolara, Ajlan Bengre and Vinayak Mangaluru were present.
