DVS likely to lose Railways Portfolio

New Delhi, Nov 07, 2014:  Speculations  are rife that present union Railway Minister and former chief minister of Karnataka D.V. Sadananda Gowda  is likely to lose the Railways Portfolio in the forthcoming Union Cabinet reshuffle.

According to sources, the Prime Minister was not happy with the style of functioning of DV Sadananda Gowda and a few other ministers. There is a possibility of Gowda being given a portfolio of lesser importance. Sources also state that Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari is likely to replace Gowda as Railway Minister.
