DSS takes out colourful procession on Social Transformation Day

Mangalore, Apr 28, 2014: The 123rd birth anniversary of Dr B.R. Ambedkar was observed as Social Transformation Day by the Karnataka Dalita Sangharsha Samithi on April 28, Monday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As part of the observance the Samithi took out a colourful procession featuring folk art troupes. The procession which commenced at Bavutagudda was led by Devadas, State Organising Convenor of the Samithi.

A function was held at Town Hall later on.
