DK reports 985 fresh Covid-19 cases and Udupi reports 556, 6 deaths in twin districts

Mangaluru, May 05, 2021:       Dakshina Kannada district recorded 985 fresh Covid-19 positive cases on Tuesday. With this the total cases recorded in the district rose to 48,281.

 

450 More Covid patients discharged on Tuesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 39,638. The district has 8,414 active cases. A total of 764 deaths have occurred so far, including 4 on Tuesday.

Udupi

Udupi disrict has reported 556 fresh cases on Tuesday, with this total cases recorded in the district rose to 33,710.

The district has 2,705 active cases. As many as 337 patients were discharged on Tuesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 30,802.

A total of 203 deaths have occured so far, including 2 on Tuesday.
