DK reports 777 fresh Covid-19 cases, 737 in Udupi, 11 deaths in twin districts

Mangaluru, May 18, 2021:       Dakshina Kannada district recorded 777 fresh Covid-19 positive cases on Tuesday. With this the total cases recorded in the district rose to 65,908.

 

1,449 More Covid patients were discharged taking the total number of recoveries to 54,098. The district has 10,982 active cases. A total of 828 deaths have occurred so far, including 7 on Tuesday.

Udupi

Udupi disrict has reported 737 fresh cases on Tuesday, with this total cases recorded in the district rose to 48,373.

The district has 6,498 active cases. As many as 1,095 patients were discharged, taking the total number of recoveries to 41,600 on Tuesday.

A total of 275 deaths have occured so far, including 4 on Tuesday.
