DK reports 679 fresh Covid-19 cases and Udupi reports 162, 12 deaths in twin districts

Mangaluru, Jun 17, 2021: Dakshina Kannada district recorded 679 fresh Covid-19 positive cases on Thursday. With this the total cases recorded in the district rose to 86,344.

 

657 More Covid patients discharged on Thursday, taking the total number of recoveries to 78,730. The district has 6,605 active cases. A total of 1,009 deaths have occurred so far, including 11 on Thursday.

Udupi

Udupi disrict has reported 162 fresh cases on Thursday, with this total cases recorded in the district rose to 64,828.

The district has 2,312 active cases. As many as 317 patients were discharged on Thursday, taking the total number of recoveries to 62,150.

A total of 366 deaths have occured so far, including 1 on Thursday.
