DK reports 342 Fresh Covid-19 cases, 131 in Udupi, 6 deaths in twin districts

Mangaluru, August 8, 2021: Dakshina Kannada district recorded 342 fresh Covid-19 positive cases on Saturday. With this the total cases recorded in the district rose to 1,02,746.

286 more Covid patients discharged on Saturday, taking the total number of recoveries to 97,992. The district has 3,294 active cases. A total of 1,460 deaths have occurred so far, including 4 on Saturday.

Udupi disrict has reported 131 fresh cases on Saturday, with this total cases recorded in the district rose to 70,735. The district has 1,371 active cases. As many as 158 patients were discharged on Saturday, taking the total number of recoveries to 68,938. A total of 430 deaths have occured so far, including 2 on Saturday.
