DK reports 1,513 fresh Covid-19 cases, 1047 in Udupi, 13 deaths in twin districts

Mangaluru, May 9, 2021: Dakshina Kannada district recorded 1,513 fresh Covid-19 positive cases on Saturday. With this the total cases recorded in the district rose to 54,682.

752 More Covid patients were discharged taking the total number of recoveries to 42,180. The district has 11,719 active cases. A total of 783 deaths have occurred so far, including 3 on Saturday.

Udupi
Udupi disrict has reported 1047 fresh cases on Saturday, with this total cases recorded in the district rose to 38,916.

The district has 5,958 active cases. As many as 328 patients were discharged, taking the total number of recoveries to 32,730 on Saturday.

A total of 228 deaths have occured so far, including 10 on Saturday.
