DK in-charge Minister Dinesh Gundurao visits flood-hit Adyapady

Mangaluru, August 2, 2024: Dakshina Kannada District in-charge Minister Dinesh Gundurao on August 2, Friday visited flood affected Adyapady in Kandavar Gram Panchayat limits and took stock of the situation.

Locals who interacted with the minister narrated how they suffer from floods due to overflowing Phalguni river every year. They also informed that even surrounding villages get affected.

The minister directed the Deputy Commissioner to ensure compensation to those affected who lost their crops. He also issued instructions to get an expert report to find a solution to the problem.

Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan, ZP CEO Anand K and others were present.
