DC visits Nandavara landslide spot: Announces Rs 1.2 lakh ex-gratia for repair of house

Bantwal, July 07, 2023: Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan visited the house at Nandavara in Sajipamunnuru which was damaged due to landslide that led to the death of a woman, on July 7, Friday.

The DC met the bereaved family and announced a compensation of Rs 1.2 lakhs towards the repair of the house.

 

Tahsildar S V Koodalagi, TP Executive Officer Ranjana, PDO Lakshman and other officials were present. The DC directed officials to take precautionary measures to avert such incidents.

It may be recalled here that Zarina lost her life due to the landslide while her daughter Safa was injured.
