As part of the festivities, idols of Goddess Sharada will be brought in grand processions from places where they are crafted and installed with devotional programs such as bhajans, orchestras, musical performances, as well as cultural and religious events. On the scheduled day, the idols will be taken in majestic immersion processions featuring tableaux, chende (drums), and other displays before being immersed in wells, ponds, and rivers. Thousands of devotees are expected to participate.

The order was issued by Deputy Commissioner Darshan H.V., citing the possibility of miscreants consuming intoxicants and causing law-and-order issues during the large gatherings.
