DC inspects BC Road- Addahole road widening works, hears public woes

Bantwal, Feb 08, 2024: Deputy Commissioner Mullai Mugilan on February 7, Wednesday inspected the construction works of the four-lane NH from BC Road to Addahole. Accompanied by officers, the Deputy Commissioner heard the grievances of the public and directed NHAI Project Director to take suitable remedial measures.

 

The DC inspected the road works at various places when local residents and shopkeepers brought to his notice various problems faced by them due to the road works, mainly due to the dusty atmosphere that has led to health complications.

The damage caused to water pipes during the road works was also brought to the notice of the authorities. The DC issued instructions to take suitable measures to rectify the problem.
