DC directs officials to hasten tourism development projects

Mangalore, Feb 4, 2014 : Various issues pertaining to tourism development in the district came up for discussion at the District Tourism Development Committee meeting held at the DC office in the city on February 4, Tuesday under the presidentship of Deputy Commissioner A.B. Ibrahim.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner instructed the Tourism officials to hasten  the implementation of various tourism promotion programmes.

Officials present at the meeting, informed that a sum of Rs 10 lakhs has been sanctioned to the district for tourism promotion related works. The DC directed the effective utilisation of the fund.

Mangalore South MLA JR Lobo, Additional DC Dayanand and other officials were present.
