Customs officials seize gold worth Rs 34 lakh at MIA

Mangaluru, Nov 18, 2021: Customs officials at  the Mangaluru International Airport have seized Rs 34.32 lakh worth gold from a passenger who arrived  from Dubai by an AIr India Express flight on November 19, Friday.

 

The accused person had concealed the gold in paste form in his body. The seized gold  weighed 681 grams. Further investigations are in progress.
