Customs officials seize Iranian saffron worth 15 lakhs at airport ; 1 arrested

Mangalore, June 15, 2013: Customs officials at the Mangalore International Airport  have arrested a person carrying 15 kg Iranian Saffron on June 15, Saturday.

The value of the seized saffron has been estimated at Rs 15 lakhs.

The arrested has  been identified as Abdul Safique, a resident of Kasargod. He had arrived by a flight from Dubai.
