Court to deliver final verdict on Vittala’s bail plea on July 2

Mangalore, June 24, 2012: The Belthangady Court will deliver its final verdict regarding bail for Vittala Malekudiya, a student of journalism and mass communication at Mangalore University, and his father Linganna, who were both arrested for alleged association with Naxals, on July 2. 

The court heard arguments from both sides on Saturday and announced that it will deliver its final verdict on July 2. 

Vittala and his father are now in Mangalore Sub Jail. They had applied for bail with the High Court of Karnataka, which ordered that they should file their bail application at a lower court.
