Corporation Bank releases Android apps on 107th Foundation Day

Mangalore, March 13, 2012 : Corporation Bank released an application for smart phones and Android tablets on the occasion of its 107th Foundation Day on March 12 Monday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ajai Kumar, the chairman and managing director of the bank, said that the bank will soon launch an application for iPads and iPhones. He also informed the customers can download these applications from the Apple iTunes Store and the Android Market Place shortly. These applications keep customers informed about the bank’s products.

Stating that Corporation Bank is the first PSB to launch such an application, he said that those interested in a product can leave their contact details and the bank will get in touch with them immediately. The app can also be used to locate closest ATMs and branches.

Further, Mr. Kumar said that the bank will provide these services on smart phones and extend transactional services through tablets, iPads, and smart phones in the days to come.

He released the bank’s caller tune on this occasion.

Tributes were paid to late Khan Bahadur Haji Abdullah Haji Kasim Saheb Bahadur, the founder president of the bank.

Lifetime Achievement Awards were conferred on Mr. Kadri Gopalnath, Dr. Raman Rao, and Mr. B. R. Shetty and Dr. B. M. Hegde was honored on this occasion.
