Cops arrest minor who was driving car that knocked down constable

Mangaluru, Oct 04, 2022: Police have arrested a minor boy who was driving a car that knocked down head constable Lokesh Naik while he was on duty at Ullal.

The police who gathered information that the car which caused the accident was in front of a house at Mukkacheri visited the place and seized thecar. The driver was also taken into custody. Police said he is a student and minor.

 

When Lokesh Naik was on duty the car which did not adhere to the instructions to stop, had fled and in the process had knocked down Lokesh. The constable who is seriously injured is presently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Mangaluru.
