Consider teachers, PDOs, Labour Dept staff as Covid warriors : Rai urges govt

Mangaluru, May 18, 2021:       The government must consider teachers, PDOs and Labour Department personnel as Covid warriors and  provide them with special facilities, demanded senior Congress leader and  former minister B Ramanatha Rai.

Rai said the teachers and PDOs play a vital role in the Covid control in the  Gram Panchayat level.   Rai also pointed out how many teachers and Education Department staff have succumbed to Covid  after contracting the infection while discharging their duties.
