Mangalore, May 22: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) and the district Congress protested against the BJP government by breaking 108 coconuts in front of Mangaladevi Temple on May 22, Sunday.
Delivering the protest address, Ivan D’Souza, the general secretary of KPCC, said that they had offered the coconuts to Goddess Mangala Devi to get rid of CM B. S. Yeddyurappa and the BJP-led state government. He also declared that the BJP is the most corrupt government in this state.
He also said that Congress leaders and workers will wave black flags and mark the day of his visit as a black day.
