Congress stages protest against Rahul’s disqualification from Lok Sabha

Mangaluru, March 24, 2023: Congress on Friday staged a protest in Mangaluru against the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi from Lok Sabha a day after he was convicted by a Gujarat court in a 2019 criminal defamation case.

The party leaders and workers shouted slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party inffront of Gandhi Statue in Lalbagh.

Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council B K Hariprasad, and MLA UT Khader spoke on the occasion.

DK District Congress President K Hariprasad, Former MLAs JR Lobo, Abhayachandra Jain, Moideen Bava, Shakuntala Shetty, Ivan D’souza, MCC Oposition Leader Naveen D’souza and DK District Youth Congress president Luqman Bantwal and others were present on the occasion.
