Congress holds jatha to mark Platinum Jubilee of Independence Day

Mangaluru, Aug 10, 2022: The South Block Congress Committee took out a jatha from Pandeshwar  till Lalbagh on August 10, Wednesday to mark the Platinum Jubilee year of Independence Day celebrations. The jatha commenced with leaders of the party garlanding the statue of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India at Pandeshwar.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Former MLA  J R Lobo, former MLC Ivan D’Souza, party leaders Mithun Rai, Abdul Saleem, Shalet Pinto, Corporators Shashidhar Hegde, Naveen D’Souza, Abdul  Ravoof, Praveenchandra Alva and many others took part in the jatha.
