Congress approves induction of 15 BJP MLAs

Mangalore, Nov 26, 2012: The Congress has approved the induction of 15 BJP MLAs, including Anand Asnotikar, into the Congress party.

Thirty BJP MLAs, including 5 ministers, had submitted applications for Congress membership. The Congress leaders selected 15 of them and sent the list for the high command’s approval.

The high command has approved the induction of all the 15 applicants except Bachegowda and Rajugowda.

The selected ministers are expected to resign from the BJP during the first week of December.
