College student murdered; rape suspected

Belthangady, Oct 9, 2012: In a shocking incident, a second PUC student of SDM College, Ujire, has been found murdered. It is suspected to be a rape and murder case. The body was found near Pangala in Dharmasthala on October 10, Wednesday.

 

 

The girl Sowjanya(17) was earlier reported missing  from home. Her parents had lodged a complaint of missing in Belthangady police station after she who had been to  college had not returned home.

The body of the girl has been found tied with the shawl which she was wearing.Belthangady  police are conducting the investigations and more details are in progress.
