College student drowns in Gurupur river

Mangalore: Seventeen year old Nihal Bangera, a first year BBM student of SDM Law College, met a watery grave when he and his three friends were enjoying a swim in the Gurupur  river near Adyapady dam area on March 2, Saturday.

 

 

It is learnt, the mishap took place when the boys decided to enjoy the day with a swim after their exams got over. But, the fun swim turned tragic when Nihal  was caught in the current and drowned. He was the son of Keshav and Ratna Bangera of Barke.

Kavoor police have registered a case.
