Cock fighting event raided ; 6 arrested

Mangaluru, Nov 18, 2017: Bajpe Police who raided a cock fighting event at a public place at Malali Narlapadavu in  Mogaru village on November 17, Friday have arrested six persons.

 

Several more accused have   escaped during the raid. A total of 38 cocks  were seized apart from a knife and  cash of Rs 2,300.  The seized cocks were auctioned with court permission for Rs 43,600. The amount has been remitted to the government treasury.
