New Delhi, Jun 26, 2021: The government’s CoWin portal is now enabling users to link their vaccination certificates to passports for use during travel.

How to link Passport to vaccination certificate?
-Visit the official portal of CoWin — www. cowin.gov.in.
-Click on the ’Raise an issue’ option.
-Then click on the ’Passport’ option and select the person, whose certificate you want to link, from the drop-down menu.
-Enter your passport number and submit the details.
In case there is a mismatch of details between the vaccine certificate and passport, one can also edit the details.
How to edit personal details?
-Visit the official portal of CoWin — www. cowin.gov.in.
-Click on the ’Raise an issue’ option.
-Then click on the ’Correction in certificate’ option and select the person, whose details you want to change, from the drop-down menu.
-Select the options you need to make corrections and edit the details.
-Then submit.
Earlier this month, the Government of India had announced new guidelines for Covid-19 vaccination, asking those going abroad for education, jobs, or as part of the Indian contingent for the Tokyo Olympic Games, to get their vaccination certificates linked to passports.
