Civil contractor hit by train, found dead on rly track near Ullal

Mangaluru, Mar 10, 2023: A senior civil contractor was found dead on the railway track near Kapikad in Ullal after being reportedly hit by a train.

 

The deceased is Janardhana Achari (78). He was residing near the Cashew Research Centre in Ullalbail. On Thursday morning, he had been out of his house and was later found dead on the tracks.

Several labourers were working under Achari. He was reportedly suffering from health problems since some years. He is survived by two sons and a daughter.
