City police team raid Mangalore Sub Jail

Mangalore, Oct 10, 2012 : A Mangalore city police team, under the leadership of ACP Kavitha, conducted a surprise raid on the Mangalore Sub Jail on Oct 9, Tuesday. Manish Kharbikar, Mangalore police commissioner, had ordered the raid.
The team found a scrap mobile phone in the premises of the jail.
It may be recalled that two groups of prisoners had gotten into a fight on Sunday and some of them had sustained injuries.
