The wonder lad who invented this bicycle is Ahmed Rizavuddin. The teenager gave a demonstration of his amazing cycle  at the Mangala Stadium Swimming Pool at Lalbagh and later interacted with the media.

How does his amazing cycle work? He has filled two tubes with air and has fixed it to either side of his cycle with the help of iron rods. These tubes prevent the cycle from  submerging in water. In case the cycle is peddled reverse, then it  can stand in midst of water and can also go reverse. Rizavuddin  also stated that he was using a frame of ‘A’ shape to ensure balance .

The cycle is also fitted with a dynamo  to facilitate riding during night. Son of Abdul Rahim and Asma, Rizavuddin has put in six months of efforts to  make his dream a reality with the help of friends Abdul Khader, Rahil Sayyid and Sharoon Pratik.

His father says the cycle would come in handy at times of floods and is also environment friendly. This cycle has been selected for the state level contest at the  Inspire  Science Model  Exhibition held at Pilikula.
