Chetana Bala Vikasa Kendra to inaugurate Autism department on Jan 11

Mangalore, Jan 8, 2014: Chetana Bala Vikasa Kendra will hold the annual day celebrations at Town Hall on January 11, Saturday at 6.00pm. 

Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on Jan 8, Wednesday, Dr. U. V. Shenoy, retired professor of Pediatrics, KMC said that MCC commissioner Ajit Kumar Hegde will inaugurate the event.

He also said that Autism department will also be inaugurated in the centre so that the Children suffering from Autism at a tender age of 2-5 will lead the normal life.

The Children suffering from Autism will be unable to communicate with the society. The children in Autism do not express happiness, sadness or any other emotions like normal people, he said.

Dr. G.N. Shenoy, dharmadarshi of the Kendra and P. Vinod Shenoy, managing trustee were present.
