Catholic Sabha distributes umbrellas to poor students

Mangalore, Jun 7, 2011: The Kulshekar unit of the Catholic Sabha of Mangalore distributed free umbrellas to 75 poor students in St. Joseph Higher Primary School.

President Victor Vaz said that poor students should not suffer in the rainy reason just because they cannot afford umbrellas. He urged students to become respectable citizens of India.

 

 

 

 

Head Teacher Sr. Norma said that children ought to learn how to respect their elders and prayed that the almighty give enough strength to the Catholic Sabha to help more and more poor students. She also urged the children to read the inspiring stories of great people and to receive their life values.

Alumni President Susheel Noronha also spoke on the occasion. Secretary Paulin D’Souza, Treasurer Leo Mascarenhas, teachers, and members of the working committee were also present.
