Car used in rowdy-sheeter Arif murder traced, seized in Bantwal

Bantwal, Mar 28, 2026: A major breakthrough has been made in the murder case of rowdy-sheeter Arif, alias “Tablet Arif,” who was killed in the early hours on the Thokkottu flyover.

The car used in the crime has been traced to Budoli under the Vitla police station limits and has been seized by the police.

After knocking Arif off his bike and murdering him, the assailants had fled in the car. During the intensified investigation, police received information about a suspicious vehicle parked in Budoli in Bantwal.

Acting swiftly, a team led by Vitla Police Inspector Prakash Devadiga rushed to the spot and successfully seized the vehicle.
