Car goes up in flames in Suratkal; driver escapes unhurt

Mangaluru, May 29, 2025: A car went up in flames on the service road of the flyover near Suratkal junction on Wednesday.

Udupi resident Usha was on way to Mangaluru when the mishap took place. The driver noticed smoke in the dashboard and immediately got off the car and thus escaped unhurt.

 

 

The car was gutted in a matter of a few seconds. Fire tender vehicles rushed to the spot and doused the fire.

Suratkal police have registered a case.
