Canteen, bakery gutted in fire at Kinnigoli

  Kinnigoli, Jan 3, 2014: A canteen and a bakery   located adjacent to the Kinnigoli Agricultural Service Co-operative Bank were gutted in a fire that broke out  during the wee hours of January 2, Thursday.

If the canteen was completely gutted, the bakery has suffered extensive damage in the fire.

The canteen was owned by Dejappa Koikude of Pakshikere while the Sridevi Bakery was owned by Prakash Shetty. The shops were located in the building owned by the Kinnigoli Gram Panchayat. Luckily, a major casualty was averted as the LPG cylinders in the canteen did not burst though there was a gas leakage.
