CM Jagadish Shettar lays foundation stone for musical fountain in Kadri Park

Mangalore, Aug 25, 2012: CM Jagadish Shettar, who visited Mangalore for the first time today, went to Kadri Park and the Circuit House on August 25, Saturday. 


He inaugurated a new development program at Kadri Park by planting a sapling and also unveiled the foundation stone for the park.

Later, at the Circuit House, he met concerned officials and heard public grievances such as rise in the number of rat fever cases, the tiger sanctuary in Kudremukh, Endosulphan victims in Puttur and Bethangady, and many others. 


Regarding the Tiger Reserve in Kudremukh National Park, he said that the government will amply compensate affected families, adding that relief will also be provided for child Endosulphan victims. 


The CM was accompanied by MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, District-in-charge Minister C. T. Ravi, Deputy Speaker Yogish Bhat, MLA Abhaya Chandra Jain, MLA U. T. Khader, and others. 


Later, the CM inaugurated the CREDAI real estate developers’ convention in TMA Pai Convention Centre.
