CID officials were not transparent in Sowjanya rape and murder case: Mahesh Shetty Thimarodi

Mangalore, Nov 6, 2013: Mahesh Shetty Thimarodi President of Prajaprabhutva Vedike, said that CID officials were not transparent in their duty since they had leaked the report to the three accused before submitting it to the government.

 

 

Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on November 6, Wednesday he said that CID officials were not sincere in their work since they had leaked the report to three accused in the case including Dheeraj Kella, Mallik Jain and Uday Jain. 

He also said that the three accused had threatened to file a case against the people through a Newspaper advertisement, for projecting them to be a real culprits before the CID officials submitted the report to the Government. This was due to the secret deal took place between the officials and accused.

Thimarodi also said that Prajaprabhutva Vedike in association with other organizations will hold a massive protest at Nehru Maidan on November 9, Saturday demanding the Government to hand over Sowjanya caes and all other unnatural death cases took place in Dharmasthala to the CBI probe.
