CFI protests against assault on Muslim girl

Mangalore, Sep 6, 2012 : The Campus Front of India (CFI), DK district committee, organized a protest against the attack on a Muslim girl, allegedly by ABVP activists, on September 6, Thursday.

 

 

Reportedly, the victim Sahira Sameera was assaulted because of her refusal to take part in an ABVP-organized protest in Bellare.

Asif Baikadi, state committee member of Campus Front of India (CFI), accused the ABVP of sowing seeds of communal hatred among college students. He also said that the ABVP has the support of the Sangh Parivar. He said that the BJP is silent over this issue and no action has been taken against the culprits.

CFI District President Imran Thumbe, Habeeb Mangalore, Namuddin, Sanavulla, and many others were also present.
