CCB cops arrest drug peddler; seize MDMA worth Rs 2.5 lakhs

Kasaragod, Aug 09, 2023: The CCB police who raided a place near KC Road, Talapady have arrested a man from Uppala in Kasargod on the charges of selling MDMA drugs.

The raid followed a definite information and Mohammad Rafiq (50) was arrested.  Police seized 50 grams of MDMA worth Rs 2.5 lakhs, a mobile phone worth Rs 8000 and digital weighing machine from the accused. The value of the seized products is estimated at Rs 2,68,500.
