CCB cops arrest 4 drug peddlers; seize MDMA worth Rs 10 lakhs

Mangaluru, Aug 16, 2023: The Mangaluru North and Kankanady Police in two separate cases have arrested four persons and have seized 200 grams MDMA from them.

 

In one case, police led by ACP  PA Hegde arrested two men namely Mohammad Haneef A N (47) of Udyavar, Sayyed Fauzan (30) and Sirajuddin Aboobakker (35) of Kunjathur in Falnir area and have seized  MDMA worth Rs 5 lakhs and weighing 100 grams from them apart from Rs 4000 cash, a car, three mobile phones and digital weighing machine.

In another case, Ibrahim Arshad V K (30) of Manjeshwar was arrested on the Kankanady Railway station road. Police seized 100 grams MDMA worth Rs 5 lakh from him.

Search is on for others involved in the racket.
