Bantwal, Nov 7, 2013: Senior RSS leader Dr Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat has hoped that the CBI investigation into the Sowjanya rape and murder case would clear all doubts in public minds regarding the case.
Speaking to reporters at Kalladka on November 6, Wednesday, he further hoped that there would be a sincere and impartial probe that will provide the much needed justice to Sowjanya and her family.
Kalladka Bhat at the same time took strong exception to the failure of the authorities to interrogate all the suspects in the case until now.
He said the culprits whoever they are must get the strictest punishment in order to ensure that such heinous acts are not repeated.
Kalladka Bhat while making it clear that he had great faith in Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, opined that Dr Heggade should have openly asked for a thorough probe when allegations were heard against his family members. “He needs to clear the suspicion in the minds of the people about his family,” Dr Bhat further said.
He also commented on the state government moves to go in for a law against superstitions and came down heavily on the government by stating that it was playing with the religious beliefs of the people. He further accused the Congress government of trying to impose the Leftist viewpoints on Hindus.
He was also ciritcal of the Shaadibhagya scheme and opined that the government, if at all it intended to work for the betterment of all sections of the society should extend the scheme to the poor of all communities and name the scheme as Mangala Bhagya scheme.
