C H Sudheer Kumar Reddy appointed as the Superintendent of Police of DK

Mangaluru, June 21, 2017 : C H Sudheer Kumar Reddy, an IPS officer of the 2010 batch,appointed as Superintendent of Police of Dakshina Kannada  on the orders of the state Government on June 21. 

 

He replaces Bhushan Gulabrao Borase, who served as SP of DK from May 2016. Borase has been transferred to Bengaluru as DCP (administration).


Reddy, a B.Tech graduate from Pondicherry Engineering College, is a native of Narsaraopet in Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh.


He served as Additional Superintendent of Police in the communally sensitive Bhatkal in Dakshina Kannada district, later as SP of Bidar district. He is now being posted  from Chikkaballapur as the SP of Dakishna Kannada .
