Byndoor: Boat capsizes due to giant tidal waves; all 9 fishermen rescued

Byndoor, Aug 04, 2023: A fishing boat capsized due to giant tidal waves off Koderi coast in Byndoor on Saturday. All nine fishermen on board the boat have been rescued.

The boat named Durgaparameshwari owned by Pundalika of Uppunda village, had ventured into fishing when the mishap took place at around five nautical miles away from Koderi coast.

Fishermen from other nearby boats rescued the distressed fishermen who were in the capsized boat.
