Businessman Katte Bhojanna suicide case: One accused arrested

Kundapur, May 28, 2022: Police have arrested one person on the charges of abetment of suicide of  businessman Katte Gopalakrishna Rao alias Katte Bhojanna.

 

The arrested person is Molahalli Ganesh Shetty. It may be recalled here that  Bhojanna had shot himself dead in the verandah of Shetty’s house.

The accused was produced before the JMFC  Court judge and remanded to 14 days of judicial custody.

The accused was arrested based on the death note left behind by Gopalakrishna wherein he  said Shetty and Ismail had not returned his Rs 9 crore after promising high returns.

Shetty had also reportedly incurred loss in various businesses he owned.
