Burglary : Manipal cops arrest 2 thieves including minor

Udupi, Sep 4, 2013 :  Manipal Police have arrested two persons including a minor in connection with a burglary reported from an apartment in Manipal.

The arrested are Ashraf of Manchi village and a minor from Doddanagudde. Police  have seized four laptops, hard disc, I-phone,  mobile and other valuables worth Rs 1.50 lakhs from them.

Police said Ashraf worked for a fast food hotel in Manipal and used to  home deliver food parcels to apartments and other places. It was during such visits that he conspired to burgle an apartment.

The arrests were made under the direction of  SP Boralingaiah and DySP Dr Prabhudev B Maane.
